Trying new things, I recently started doing maker faire demonstrations using the steam bending process to bend wood. The Rassawek Spring Jubilee in Goochland County Va., allowed for a two day demonstration. So I conceived a piece I could make parts for as my demonstration, and be able to finish construction in a few days following the faire. As I made my jigs for the piece I tested them so that I had a finished piece for the event. This also provided a sample for people to view so they could better relate to my demonstration.
