While some Bohnhoff furniture is available to purchase on occasion, most ownership starts with an emailed request to David that contains an idea of what you are looking for. With your ideas in mind, David can sketch one or more options to fulfill your vision and will send these sketches to you for a modest design fee. You will choose one of the options or work with David to refine the design further and he will propose materials to be used as well as final stains or polished finishes. Once the initial design proposal is complete, David will refine the drawings which are crucial to the development of your project’s proportion and scale, then estimate the overall final cost. If you decide to move forward, you will make a deposit and David will give you an estimated delivery date.

Next, David will choose construction and joinery methods that are appropriate to the look and function of your new custom handcrafted piece of furniture. David will bring the Bohnhoff Furniture & Design signature design and quality construction to your new furniture. The final finishes will be either applied by hand or spray, and are chosen for their look and durability — and will be specific to your custom piece of furniture.
